If you are sick, please stay home – even if your symptoms are mild.
Employees are expected to manage their own personal health regarding COVID as they would for other contagious illnesses – working with your primary health care provider and your supervisor to determine remote work or time off arrangements during an illness. Students are also expected to manage their own personal health regarding COVID as they would for other contagious illnesses – working with your primary health provider and/or UMSL Health Services and your instructors to determine academic accommodations during an illness.

Students and employees will be expected to self-monitor their health on a daily basis for COVID-19 symptoms including temperature, cough, loss of smell or taste, difficulty breathing, fatigue and more.
If you are experiencing symptoms atypical of your individual health circumstances, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have had contact with a person identified as testing positive, please follow the response as outlined above and follow CDC guidance for isolation and quarantine.
